10 on 10 | TLF style

I didn’t have a chance to do my 10 on 10 this month because we were right in the middle of packing and loading, so I decided to do it now, while the kiddos and I are just hanging around TLF (temporary living facility). enjoy!

Jonah does this thing… we call it ‘preaching’ but he has done it since he was a tiny baby. He holds his hands out in front of him and waves them all about while he talks on and on and on. He’s quite serious about it. it’s adorable. Here’s my best attempt to capture it on camera!

my big boy is rather cooped up in TLF but he is handling it as best as can be expected!

She was all the way across the room from me, but decided the camera looked very interesting… doesn’t take her long!

Everything in this 4 bedroom TLF has to go on a plane with me on Friday. ugh. three kids require so much STUFF!

We have borrowed some toys from friends for TLF. As soon as he opened up the sticks, he organized them by color and type. Oh, he is my child.

a dear friend brought us lunch in TLF and got to sneak some baby snuggles…

It has been quite the rainy, windy day… definitely one of the things I will NOT miss about Minot!

It never ceases to amaze me how he can wake up from a 2 hour nap even more grumpy than when he went down.

But the happy boy always comes back… here he made his own kite out of a piece of paper and a pen!

  1. Hi Chelsea,
We don’t know each other, but I’ve been following your blog for the last couple of months (found you by happy accident while researching cloth diapers for a friend, and as I read on I put together that you’re stationed at Minot – my hometown!) Despite not having babies of my own yet, we seem to have some things in common and I am so inspired by the DIY and sewing projects that you do! Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and to wish you the best of luck with your big move. I will include you and your family in my prayers tonight for a very safe and happy journey to your new home.
    Your friend,
    Erica (from Oregon)
