Job Whitcomb McCown was stillborn at 335am on Saturday, September 18th. He was 20 weeks gestation. He was baptized and is in his Heavenly Father’s loving arms. He was 3oz and 7.5 inches, very tiny but perfect.
Mom is home from the hospital and recovering. We are all grieving the loss of this sweet child, but rejoicing that he is in his eternal glory where there is no pain, suffering, sin, or loss. We look forward to the day when we can meet him.
At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.”
